Members of the team travelled to Snowdonia over the weekend to take members of the 1st Tenbury Scout Group climbing. The group were camping at Cornel Scout Centre for a week. After traveling up on Saturday morning, the afternoon was spent checking out venues before grabbing a few personal climbs during the evening. The night was spent with the group at Cornel, thank you for the excellent catering.
Sunday was spent with the Scouts on the crag at the Pinnacles above Capel Curig. The group was split into two for morning and afternoon sessions to allow each scout to get the most from their time at the crag.
Each session started with some bouldering to warm up, followed by some short easy routes to build up to a finish on the longer routes on the main face.
Able assistance was provided by Tenbury Scout Leaders John and Duncan.
An excellent group of confident and able scouts.
